To get the update out of the way, my classes are over for the semester, and for the next 8 months or so I'm going to be doing an internship in order to get my Master's Degree. Basically, I'll be having a full-time job. Since I won't have class to attend or homework, I'm hoping that I'll have more free time on the side to work on personal projects, commission work and thesis preparation (reading, mostly). I'm not entirely confident about this, so I'll just keep my fingers crossed.
One of those projects I'd like to work on includes my personal comic, Soul Beat
, formerly Dante's Disco Inferno
. Right now, I'm just making steady progress on character drawings and re-designs of old ones. And as I make those characters, I'll update them here as part of the Soul Beat
collection with at least their color schemes highlighted and a brief bio that won't reveal too much information. The goal will be that as the story progresses, new information can be revealed and added, but that won't be for some time I'm afraid. For now, just enjoy the new designs.
I'd also like for people to see these drawings as evidence of what I can do for commission work
. Character Reference Sheets are one of the things that I offer, so if the Soul Beat
character drawings impress you, please give some thought about making a request. I'm planning on revising the pricing system as well, meaning lower prices in the near future for those worried about cost.
That's about it for now. For more frequent updates, sketches and additional art/architecture-related posts, check out my other sites:TumblrTwitterInstagram
